Lost Things

Ps Ashley Evans
I am not a highly detailed reader of documents. I admire people who can wade through line after line of details because if I read too many details, I actually get a headache. In fact I admire those people who read the fine print on their insurance. Then you have another whole new level of people who are just incredible - they actually read the terms and conditions of every app they download, of every new piece of software that they ever get and read every detail of every document. Usually the lack of detail for me does not seem to matter but there have been times when it has caused me great loss.

Like all of us, I have had property stolen. Whether it is a wallet, a phone (in fact Jane had hers stolen in Italy) or something else; we have things taken from us that were ours. For years I paid a good premium for my house and contents and did not realise that my home and contents policy had a clause which allowed me to claim for those stolen goods that were taken from me from places away from my house - in another street, suburb or city. If only I had known that years ago, it would have helped me greatly. If only I had taken the time to understand what was rightfully mine, things would have been very different but instead of replacing my lost things, I suffered great loss.

Why is this so important and how does this relate to you? Well it is like this: we have all lost things, had things crash and burn and had things stolen from us. Unless you know the truth, you will not have the joy of new things; you will only know the pain of loss. Your lack of knowledge is preventing you from living blessed...

Prosper In All Things

Ps Brad Bonhomme
"Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers." 3 John 2

God wants us to prosper in all things! To fully appreciate what John is trying to teach us we must grab a hold of the key phrase - ‘just as’.

The Greek word used; ‘Kathos’ - when interpreted is defined as - according to, in direct proportion to, in comparison to, to the degree.

In other words, prospering in all things and being in health is in direct proportion to the prosperity of your soul.

How do you then prosper your soul? Like your body, soul prosperity is related to what we feed on. If your body consumes junk food only, there are of course negative health repercussions. Conversely, if your body feeds on good, there are positive health repercussions.

So it is with our soul. Feed on the love and goodness of Jesus. Believe God for a revelation of His love for you today! Listen to His voice and allow Him to draw you into His presence.
Soul prosperity will have an enormous and powerful effect on the quality your life!
Why don’t you speak this confession over your life right now;

Father, as Jesus is right now at your right hand - strong, healthy, blessed, young, righteous and accepted, so am I. For I am as He is.

I know that Jesus, the one who owns the fullness of God, the fullness of supply, the fullness of wisdom; He's gone ahead into this weekend to prepare it for me. He will make my paths straight and He will cause every mountain to be made into a plain and He will cause every valley to be filled.

I am always blessed, accurate and effective in all that I do and in every place and every role I find myself in, in Jesus name.

Good Success For You and Your Family

Ps Brad Bonhomme

"The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, and He adds no sorrow with it.” Proverbs 10:22

GOD DOES NOT SIMPLY want you to experience success in your life. He wants you to experience good success. There is no doubt that there is such a thing as ‘bad success.’ There are people in the world today who have climbed the ladder of what the world would deem to be success: fame and wealth. However, many of these people have underlying challenges and difficulties which can become life-controlling problems.

Ps. Joseph Prince made a comment once that I have never forgotten, “Having financial success alone does not equate to good success, good success is holistic and permeates every spectrum of your life.”

God is concerned about the relationship that you have with your kids. He is concerned about the way that spouses interact with each other. He is completely committed to ensuring that you enjoy wholesome and fulfilling friendships in your life regardless of which stage you are at in your journey.

Does God want to bless our finances? Absolutely! However, when God thinks of success, He sees it from an all-inclusive perspective. Build your family, experience meaningful and nourishing relationships in the church and have good success in every area of your life!
